Paul Gianneschi – Managing Principal and Founder
After 15 years in the healthcare industry, Paul founded Hatch Medical in 2000 to assist physician inventors with new product concepts. Prior to founding Hatch Medical, Paul served for over seven years in a series of senior level marketing and sales management roles with medical device industry leader, C. R. Bard, Inc.’s Peripheral Technologies Division (now Becton, Dickinson and Company – BD). While at Bard, Paul maintained global marketing responsibility for vena cava filters and vascular stent products. His past responsibilities at Bard also included global management of peripheral angioplasty balloon catheters, thrombolysis catheters and accessory devices. Prior to joining Bard, Paul worked with Bausch & Lomb and NDC Health (now McKesson) in a series of field sales training and division management roles.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and an Executive M.B.A. in International Management from Mercer University.
Steven M. Hvozda – Principal Member
Mr. Hvozda has held an array of executive sales and marketing management positions for over 30 years within the medical device industry. Prior to becoming a Principal Member of Hatch Medical in 2001, Steve held the position of Global Sales and Marketing Director for C.R. Bard Inc.’s Carotid Endovascular Systems division. Prior to this, Steve was the International Director of Marketing for Bard Peripheral Technologies responsible for stents, PTA, vena cava filters, biopsy and drainage devices. Prior to joining Bard, Steve had global sales and marketing responsibilities for the Canadian based hemodialysis and angioplasty device company, Vas-Cath Inc.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from McMaster University in Canada.
Physician Advisory Council
Hatch Medical’s Physician Advisory Council is a six-member panel of world-renowned physicians skilled in the treatment of peripheral and cardiovascular disease. This multi-disciplinary, global team of interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons and interventional cardiologists assist in the evaluation of new product opportunities and provide objective feedback during the product development process.
This group of private practice and university-based physicians provides invaluable insight to the Hatch Medical team due to their varied training and substantial clinical experience. Representing some of the most prestigious hospital centers in the world, every member of the Hatch Medical Physician Advisory Council regularly participates in industry and non-industry sponsored clinical research and trials. As a result, they bring the highest level of device sophistication to each and every product development project.
